Reminiscent of a cozy barn, greendog's urban farm was engineered with love and designed to provide comfort and security. Each of our 40 eco-dens is enclosed with a hand-crafted gate and wrought-iron hardware. All of our eco-dens have private lockers to keep your dogs' personal items close by. Concrete enclosures separate the eco-dens and prevent dogs from being startled or excited by fellow boarders, so that when they need to rest, they can. Everything at greendog is designed, first and foremost, to be dog-friendly. In doing so, we're also environmentally-friendly. We use ecologically-safe cleaning products, instead of bleach, knowing that our dogs may come in contact with whatever we use. We use low VOC paint throughout our space, because our dogs deserve to breathe clean air, inside and out. We recycle our grey water for use in landscaping to help preserve natural resources for dogs everywhere.
Naturally, most dogs come to Greendog's urban farm in search of some good, clean fun. A day at the farm is a wonderful gift for your dog and peace of mind for you. Like people, dogs need a little social time. To encourage safe socialization, we group our dogs according to size and temperament. The individual packs have separate play areas with freedom to run in and out as they please. Greendog's handlers supervise the pack throughout the day ensuring that everyone has access to water and that no one gets carried away. But since not all dogs know when to say when, we schedule a series of breaks throughout the day to ensure that all dogs get a little rest.
